Welcome to Personal Training with Ollie Booth Fitness! I’m looking forward to getting started and helping you create lifestyle change that sticks. Here’s a bit more information on the standards you can expect from me, what is expected of you, and the OBF services.


MY COMMITMENT TO YOU
Recommendations – Using my judgment and experience, I will suggest certain exercises and other lifestyle advice that I believe will help you achieve your personal goals. If at any time you have specific requests, please tell me so I can accommodate them.


Signposting – I intend to work with you within the scope of my knowledge and competencies as a Level 3 Personal Trainer. Therefore, when I believe it is in your best interest to see another health professional, I will signpost you appropriately.


Cancellations & late starts by me – In the unlikely event that I have to cancel a session or start a session late the following policy applies:
• If I have to cancel a session, I will try my best to find an appropriate time to complete the session. If this isn't possible then the session will be refunded either by bank transfer or by adjustment to the following month's payment.
• If I am late starting our session, I will extend the session time accordingly or make it up at a future date, whichever is most convenient to you.

Annual leave - when I am on leave, your payments will be adjusted accordingly.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES TO the process
Disclosure of information – Please ensure that all information you disclose is accurate and kept up to date. This will help to keep you safe and for OBF to deliver you the best service.


Cancellations & late starts by you – If you have to cancel a session or start a session late, the following policy applies:
• I recognise that life can get in the way sometimes so when more than 12 hours notice is given, the session will be rearranged. Rearranged sessions must be completed within 1 month of the original session date.
• If less than 12 hours notice of cancellation is given the session will be forfeited and charged as normal.
• If you are late to a session, I will do my best to get the most out of the remaining time left in the session.


If you are cancelling your session with less than 24 hours notice or running late then please contact me via phone call, WhatsApp, or text message. For all other session rearrangements, contact me via your preferred contact method.


Being prepared for your session - To get the most out of your session I recommend the following:
• Have a small snack or light meal two to three hours before your session.
• Be sure you are well hydrated and avoid alcohol prior to training.
• If you are feeling unwell before your session, please contact me.

• Bring a small towel and water bottle to your session.
• Wear appropriate clothing and footwear (ask me if you are unsure).
• Be ready at the appointed time.


Communication and Commitment – While I can give you the tools and encouragement to reach your goals, ultimately you will need to assume responsibility for making the required changes. I can best help you with this process if you keep me fully informed of any issues that arise for you.

Payments – If you opt for a taster session, payment is due before the session starts, you will be sent a payment link for this. After that, payments work like a monthly membership, taken by Direct Debit through GoCardless on the 1st working day of the month. If you would like to make any changes or cancel your package, 10 working days notice is required.

Personal training packages – My aim is to provide you with the best service possible to help you reach and exceed your goals. As such, both the sessions and any out of session support are structured to maximize consistency. To help you stay accountable and to allow me to offer you the best service, sessions are offered on a subscription basis with guaranteed session times each week. Please note that once you start your payments, you are committing to this time.


The specific details of what is included within your package are on the website and will be confirmed before you set up your Direct Debit. Unless stated otherwise some universal definitions are outlined below:


Weekly check-ins – In creating lifestyle change that sticks, it's essential that you get the support you need outside of sessions, as well as in the sessions themselves. Weekly check-ins are designed to give you such support. As a minimum, I will make contact with you outside of sessions once a week. This can be either by messaging or a 10-minute call/video call. Message replies fall between 8am and 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The content of the check-ins will be based on input from you and my recommendations on those areas. For any scheduled calls/video calls, the same cancellation policy above applies. Check-in sessions cannot be carried over to the following weeks.
